IMAG Consulting Pty Ltd (IMAG) is an independent agricultural consulting firm based in Dubbo and Forbes, in the central west of New South Wales. Founded in 2003, the company invests significant resources in the fields of dryland and irrigated agronomy and agribusiness planning and management.
All directors have been involved in family farms prior to becoming consultants to agriculture. They have developed valuable insight into what is required to operate profitable, sustainable agribusinesses and see a sound future for such organisations. The Directors see an increasing demand for independent agricultural advice and continue to expand the business to satisfy this requirement from the industry.

Matt Shephard graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Adelaide in 1996. Matt has accumulated 20+ years of dryland agronomy and farm management consulting experience, predominately in the central west of New South Wales. He also has expertise in farm business finance and rural benchmarking. Matt has a management role with several cropping businesses based in Forbes, Narromine and Gulargambone.

Glenn Shepherd completed a Bachelor of Science in Wool and Pastoral Science at the University of New South Wales in 1996. He has 20+ years agronomy and farm management consulting experience. Glenn has expertise in agronomy and farm profit analysis and experience in technical aspects of the wool industry.

In 2012, Cameron joined IMAG as a consultant agronomist and company director based out of the Forbes office. Cameron has come to IMAG with 20 years of in-field agronomy experience. After completing his agriculture study at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga in 1994 he started his working career with the Victorian Department of Agriculture before moving back to NSW to work as an agronomist for several agribusinesses. Over this time Cameron has developed skills in all aspects of cropping and pasture agronomy in both irrigated and dryland farming systems.
