WHO ARE WE?

IMAG is operated by two directors who are both actively involved with providing agricultural consultancy advice.

Matt Shephard graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Adelaide in 1996.  Matt has accumulated ten years of dryland agronomy and farm management consulting experience, predominately in the central west of New South Wales.  He also has expertise in farm business finance and rural benchmarking.

Glenn Shepherd completed a Bachelor of Science in Wool and Pastoral Science at the University of New South Wales in 1996.  He has 9 years agronomy and farm management consulting experience.  Glenn has expertise in agronomy and farm profit analysis and two years experience in technical aspects of the wool industry.

Both Matt and Glenn grew up and worked on family farms prior to becoming consultants to agriculture.  They have developed valuable insight into what is required to operate profitable, sustainable agribusinesses and see a sound future for such organisations.  The Directors believe there will be an increasing demand for independent agricultural advice in the future and wish to continue to expand the business to satisfy this requirement from the industry.

James Hassall joined the IMAG team as its precision agriculture expert.  James has expertise in spatial analysis and statistics, with particular skills in yield mapping technologies.  He is completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from Sydney University and has a close association with The Australian Centre for Precision Agriculture.  Furthermore, James is a farmer in the Gilgandra area, cropping around 1,500ha every year and constantly examining precision agriculture development in the paddock.
